South Georgian Bay Music Foundation is delighted to present this summer’s music series: Jazz & Blues Live at The Station.

  • June 26 – Rosie’s Smokehouse Deluxe – a great local blues band
  • July 10 – The Mike McCarthy Band – a familiar excellent local band
  • July 17 – Jack de Keyzer – Juno award-winning blues musician and his band
  • July 24 – The Toronto All Star Big Band – back by popular demand with some fabulous sounds
  • August 7 – Sol De Cuba – Pablo Terry and his Cuban band that were a hit a few years ago

LIVE AT THE STATION 2023

what, when, where:

What: An all ages/ family friendly,  FREE and accessible music series

When: 6 – 8pm, June 26, July 10, July 17, July 24, August 7

Where: The Station Park, Collingwood Museum, 45 St. Paul Street, Collingwood ON

Cost: FREE and accessible! No admission is charged. Donations are encouraged

What to bring: Please bring your lawn chair, camping chair or blanket to sit on at the concerts and don’t forget to bring your dancing shoes.

Sadly, the Harbour Street Fish Bar has decided to step away from the concerts. Please bring your own picnic supplies.
Collingwood Ice Cream Co. will be providing cool summer treats.

Rosie’s Smokehouse Deluxe

Rosie’s Smokehouse Deluxe are a hard driving Blues Rock band based out of Wasaga Beach, Ontario, Canada consisting of four veterans of the Canadian music scene. David G. Rose, (aka: Rosie) on Lead Vocals and Bass Guitar has joined forces with Tony Moretta on Guitar and Backing Vocals, Gabor Szepesi on Keyboards and Terry Martell on Drums and Percussion to bring “Rosie’s Smokehouse Deluxe” to life. Their debut album, “Welcome To The Smokehouse” is a high energy blend of R&B infused Blues Rock that is garnering rave reviews, both at home and internationally. Their incredibly intense live show see’s the bass man himself stepping into the spotlight, delivering his gritty, raw, soulful vocals backed by a band that’s truly on fire from the drop of the beat.

Jack de Keyzer

Acclaimed guitarist, singer, song writer, band leader and producer, Jack de Keyzer rarely sits still. For 46 years or roughly a couple million miles, de Keyzer has been hitting the road, air and studio to bring his brand of guitar driven blues around the globe. With 12 records, 1 DVD, 2 Junos and 7 Maple Blues Awards, de Keyzer delivers the goods wherever, whenever he performs. Playing over 100 shows a year, de Keyzer’s music is steeped in Chicago blues, London England’s (de Keyzer’s birth place) blues rock, Detroit’s Motown, Muscle Shoals deep soul, Memphis’ rock and roll, and Philadelphia’s funky soul jazz . De Keyzer knows firsthand as he has played with many first-generation pioneers of these sounds and styles, Bo Diddley, Otis Rush, Etta James, King Biscuit Boy and Ronnie Hawkins to name a few.

The Toronto All Star Big Band

Toronto All-Star Big Band provide an outstanding development opportunity for keen young musicians aged 15-22 to realize their artistic potential through education and performance, seeking the highest level of achievement within a challenging nurturing and collaborative environment. To serve a broad community with accessible programming and high calibre productions at a range of performance venues.


One of the most exciting bands around, the Toronto All-Star Big Band revives the spirit style and sound of the 30’s, 40’s and 50’s – that golden age of the big bands.

August 7
Sol De Cuba – Pablo Terry

Pablo Terry’s warm, winning smile, dynamic stage presence and musical dexterity leave audiences happy, excited and wanting more… Born in Cuba, he received his musical training in the Cuban Army and at the renowned Escuela de Artes in Havana. After his six-year career in the army, he went on to perform for two years at the famous Club Tropicana and for thirteen years at the International Varadero shows, where he won the hearts of tourists.


Pablo Terry has played with many great Cuban artists, including Celia Cruz, Compay Segundo of Buena Vista Social Club, Omara Portuondo, and Los Papines, to name but a few. He has also played at Ronnie Scott’s, in London, England and for Luciano Pavarotti’s birthday party in Modena, Italy. Among the guests was Princess Diana. A serious musician, Pablo Terry plays for both his love of the music and his love of the audiences he plays for.
